We can discuss your pregnancy, birth wishes and what led you to finding a doula. I will also answer questions you might have from birth to doulas. I enjoy meeting new people and talking birth so there is no obligation. This complimentary consultation lasts about 45 minutes.
In response to COVID-19 outbreak, my doula support services are available VIRTUALLY or a HYBRID approach. Let’s chat about your needs and come up with an option that works best for you and your growing family. I would love to share with you what doula support looks like at this moment and discuss how you can still benefit from having a committed birth team.
Birth Coach + Labor Support
BIRTH DOULA SERVICES INCLUDE:
Four prenatal coaching sessions, approximately ninety minutes in duration. In these sessions, we will: understand your vision, motivations, fears, and hopes for your birth; explore birth preferences; use Spinning Babies and Body Ready Method techniques; practice comfort measures and positions for labor and delivery; prepare for postpartum; and review any birthing and postpartum topics as requested.
Phone, text, and email support from the time I am hired through six weeks postpartum.
Access to a TENS unit for you to start using at the onset of labor.
Back-up Doula support
On-call (24/7) from two weeks before your due date to when you give birth. Once you are in labor, I will come at your request to provide continuous labor support and will stay one-two hours postpartum.
Two postpartum visits that offer: breastfeeding support, celebrating your birth experience, and supporting your transition to motherhood.
Fee + Service Area
Total fee: $3000 (new clients with no labor experience)
A $1400 retainer fee is due when the contract is signed to hold your due date on my calendar. The remaining balance is due by 37 weeks.
In certain circumstances, I offer a sliding scale fee and discounted services: repeat clients, single parent, homebirth, midwifery model of care, etc. Please inquire within.
